Mom leaves 5 year old in the car during her tanning lessons

BROOKLYN, Ohio - A mom was cited after police
accused her of leaving her child unattended inside
of a running car while she went tanning at a salon.

Jessica Felty of Brooklyn, Ohio, was cited just before
10:15 a.m. Monday for child endangering.

According to police reports, Felty left her 5-year-old
child alone inside of a running car during her
tanning bed session at Tan Pro USA.

A passerby called police after spotting the 5-year-
old playing in the driver's seat, WEWS reported.

Police quickly responded and then a Tan Pro
employee went inside of the business to get Felty.

The child was not harmed.
