"Transformers: Age of Extinction" Continues Box Office Domination

For the second week in a row, "Transformers: Age of Extinction" was a hit with movie-goers, landing on top at the box office for the Fourth of July weekend.

The latest installment in the franchise, which stars Mark Wahlberg , nabbed $10.6 million in sales on Friday and will end the weekend with $36 million
plus in receipts, making the movie the first film to hold the top spot for consecutive weeks so far this summer
.



Coming in at number two was "Tammy." The latest Melissa McCarthy comedy took in $6.4 million on Friday, and is on track to take in $21 million for the
three day period.
Rounding out the top five in earmarked earning are the Channing Tatum/Jonah Hill action comedy "22 Jump Street" ($9.4 million) in third, the horror film "Deliver Us from Evil" ($9.5 million) in fourth and Dreamworks' "How to Train Your Dragon 2" ($8.7 million) in fifth.
