Naya Rivera not returning to "GLEE"

It appears the rumors are true as new reports
confirm that Naya Rivera is not returning to "Glee."

Multiple sources told Us Weekly that the 27-year-
old actress was fired from the Fox series after
tensions rose with her co-star Lea Michele.

Naya is reportedly jealous that Lea is the primary star of the show, according to a snitch.

In addition, Rivera reportedly "went off" during a disagreement
with the show's producers and her contract for season six was not renewed.

Reps for Naya did comment to the Hollywood
Reporter, stating that "any reports or rumors
circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from
'Glee' are absolutely untrue. End of story."

Miley Cyrus: Back on the Bench

She was hoping to rock out for her Dutch fans in Amsterdam this Friday (May 2) but instead Miley Cyrus will be trying to get healthy again.

According to an insider, the "Party in the USA"
songstress "has had a health setback and her
allergic reaction issues have returned.

Miley is very
bummed about it."

Therefore, Miley will postpone her gig in the
Netherlands and may also push back the May 4th
concert in Antwerp, Belgium.

While lamenting her health woes, Cyrus posted a photo to her Instagram account while wearing a
duck-themed oxygen mask.

Google: Driveless cars are mastering city maps

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Google says that cars it has
programmed to drive themselves have started to
master the navigation of city streets and the
challenges they bring, from jaywalkers to weaving bicyclists — a critical milestone for any commercially
available self-driving car technology.

Despite the progress over the past year, the cars
have plenty of learning to do before 2017, when
the Silicon Valley tech giant hopes to get the
technology to the public.

The promise is that, eventually, there would be no need for a driver.

None of the traditional automakers has been so
bullish.

Instead, they have rolled out features
incrementally, including technology that brakes
and accelerates in stop-and-go traffic or keeps cars
in their lanes.

Spanish police arrests a man linked to the racist incident at Villareal

The racist incident took place as the player was
about to take a corner in a match at Villarreal on
Sunday.

Alves responded by peeling and eating the banana
- which received praise worldwide and sparked a
large social media campaign against racism.

The man detained has been identified as a 26-year-
old Villarreal supporter.

He has been named as David Campaya Lleo, local
media say.

The club said earlier the man involved had had his
season ticket withdrawn and been given a lifetime
ban.

The Barcelona defender expressed his surprise at
the outpouring of support in the wake of the
banana affair.

His team eventually won the match
3-2, at Villareal's El Madrigal stadium in Castellon on
Spain's east coast.

Alves told BBC Brasil on Wednesday it was "not an
isolated incident", and that he had been
denouncing racist insults for six years.

"I hope that this (campaign) can be an alert to ban
this kind of attitude from football altogether.

I hope
the debate about racial prejudice will not fade
away, but stays on permanently and not be
restricted only to football," he added.

Lifetime ban Reports suggest the suspect in detention may have
had links to one of the Villarreal's youth teams,
although the team has not commented on this.

In a statement earlier this week, Villarreal said the
club "deeply regrets and condemns the incident".

In earlier comments to Brazil's Radio Globo, Alves
said he wanted the opposition fan who threw the
banana to be publicly shamed.

He also criticised Spain for its approach to racism,
saying: "They sell the country as being first world
but in certain things they are very backward."

The hashtag "we are all monkeys" took Twitter by storm after fellow Brazilian footballer Neymar
tweeted a photo of himself smiling on Instagram
with a banana, side by side with his toddler son.

Professional footballers, celebrities and ordinary
people alike have since posted photos of
themselves, banana in hand, on social media.

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi became the latest
public figure to join the campaign when he posed
for reporters, sharing a banana with Italian football
coach Cesare Prandelli.

Nokia gets new CEO May 1

HELSINKI (AP) - Nokia is planning for a turnaround
now that it has sold its loss making handset
business to Microsoft, naming on Tuesday a new
CEO, promising to pay dividends again and laying out its vision for its remaining operations.

For the first quarter - the last for which it will include
figures for its cellphones unit - Nokia said its net
loss was 239 million euros (173 million) compared
with a loss of 272 million a year earlier.

Revenue fell
to 2.6 billion euros from 3.1 billion euros, with mobile device sales plunging 30 percent.

To lead the Finnish company in its focus on the
remaining businesses of networks, software, and
maps, it named Rajeev Suri, the Indian-born former
head of Nokia Solutions and Networks, to become
CEO on May 1.

The 46-year-old, who joined Nokia in 1995, has been largely credited with a turnaround
in the company's networks sector.

Nokia Corp.'s shares closed up 3 percent at 5.29
euros on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

Neil Mawston from Strategy Analytics said that a
"relief factor" partly explained the increase in the company's share price.

"The burden of old Nokia has gone and it's a fresh
start with the new Nokia," Mawston said.

Nokia, which completed the 5.44 billion-euro sale
of its troubled devices and services unit and a
license to a portfolio of patents to Microsoft Corp.

Last week, said it plans to invest 5 billion euros to
"optimize its capital structure," including paying 1.8
billion euros in dividends for 2013 and 2014.

Suri gave an upbeat forecast, saying Nokia will
continue expansion of its networks business,
which serves 90 of the world's 100 largest operators, and focus on its mapping services for car
navigation systems, where it has an 80 percent
market share with its HERE maps.

The technology division will further invest in
improving its innovation portfolio and explore new
technologies with a team that includes hundreds of scientists and engineers.

"Nokia's strategy is to develop its three businesses
in order to realize its vision of being a technology
leader in a connected world and, in turn, create
long-term shareholder value," said Suri, who
described Nokia as one of the world's largest software companies.

He also said Nokia was set to negotiate new
contracts concerning its licenses.

"All three areas looking a lot healthier for the new
Nokia, now that the old Nokia partner has been
jettisoned," said Mawston from Strategy Analytics.

Despite the slide in smartphones, Nokia maintained
its position in the first quarter as the world's second
largest maker of mobile phones, which includes
feature phones, according to research released by
Strategy Analytics on Tuesday.

It had a market share of 12 percent, shipping 47 million devices, behind Samsung's 28 percent and
113 million units but just ahead of Apple's 11
percent share and 43.7 million units, Strategy
Analytics said.

Nokia began as a maker of paper and gum boots in
1865 and transformed into a home electronics company before becoming an innovator in the
wireless industry from where it moved into mobile
telephony.

But it was unable to sustain its role as
the trendsetter and since its peak in 2008 when tit
led the cellphone business with a 40 percent global
market share, the company struggled to stay competitive in the lucrative smartphone sector
against the likes of Apple Inc.'s iPhone, Samsung
Electronics and Asian brands which sold cheaper
smartphones.

Several Nokia models flopped and it failed to sense
popular trends such as touchscreen models and folding clamshell phones.

Its operating systems
also lagged behind, particularly compared with
Google Inc.'s popular Android.

In an attempt to reverse the slide, it teamed up with
Microsoft in 2011, replacing its old operating
system with one based on Windows, but consumers didn't warm to the Windows Lumia
handsets, and Microsoft bought the unit in an
attempt to mount a challenge to Apple and Google
as more technological tasks are done on mobile
devices instead of personal computers.

As part of the Microsoft deal, 25,000 Nokia employees, including 4,700 in Finland, moved over
to the U.S. giant, leaving Nokia with 55,300
workers worldwide.

Its headquarters in Espoo, near the Finnish capital
Helsinki, were taken over by Microsoft last
weekend and the company moved its personnel to a new head office nearby.

Kimye's balcony kiss plans

According to the latest Kim Kardashian and Kanye West rumor, this couple may actually get married any day now.

famous couple is expected to exchange vows in a small courthouse ceremony before the week is over.

Don't worry, though, folks: these A-listers still have

Will any of these rumors become a reality? We'll find
out in just a few weeks.

supposedly wants to emulate with her husband-to-

Instagram Sends Rihanna A Warning: Cover Up Or We’re Deleting Your Account!

When it comes to Rihanna and her nudity,
Instagram is playing no games.

According to sources, the photo-sharing app
threatened to shut down RiRi's account after she
posted topless snaps from her recent photo shoot
with Lui magazine.

The pics, which violated IG's rules against nudity, where removed within an
hour of posting.

Our Instagram sources tell us Rihanna got an email
that basically warned her … keep your clothes on
or risk having your account permanently shut
down," TMZ reports.

But, in typical RiRi fashion, the threat didn't phase
her at all.

The Bajan beauty simply headed to
Twitter to share the banned shots of her exposed
breasts.

What can we say? She follows her own rules,
always did and always will.

Prince William celebrates wedding anniversary

It was a wedding for the history books, and today
(April 29) marks the third anniversary of Prince William and Kate Middleton's breathtaking nuptials.

Having recently returned from a three-week tour of New Zealand and Australia, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge aren't slated for a huge party, but they'll definitely mark the occasion.

An insider told Us Weekly, "They chose to make
low-key plans but it will still be a special day for
them. They decided to do something low-key and
in private before the tour and have been looking
forward to celebrating."

As it turns out, Will and Kate are trying to recharge
their batteries, along with their 9-month-old son
George, as the upcoming months hold plenty to do.

"As always, summer is a busy time for the couple
and this year will be unlike any other. Their
schedule will be very busy in June, July and
August."

Meanwhile, William and his brother Prince Harry are scheduled to attend the wedding of close friend
Guy Pelly in Memphis, Tennessee this weekend.

Rihanna Hit With A Defamation Lawsuit

If you are a Rihanna fan then you know she loves
to speak her mind.

Well, it looks like her slick-
talking ways have caught up to her because a
former bodyguard is suing for defamation.

According to reports, Geoffrey Keating filed a
lawsuit in Ireland today, claiming the superstar
made "nauseatingly offensive" and false statements
in an email.

The legal documents state the offensive
comments carried over in a phone call to his sister
as well.

Keating, who worked as the head of security for
the Vogue cover star between October 2012 and July 2013, insists the remarks injured his reputation
and damaged his business.

According to TMZ, he was granted a motion to serve Rihanna with the lawsuit in the U.S. "We're
taking this battle very seriously," Keating's attorney
Gerald Kean said.

"We are satisfied that the Irish
Courts will see justice at the end of the day." RiRi's camp has yet to respond to the allegations.

U.S tornado kills 30, and threatens more damge in South

TUPELO, Mississippi (Reuters) - At least 30 people
across six states were killed in tornadoes
unleashed by a vicious storm system that leveled
towns and was threatening to cause more mayhem
in heavily populated parts of the U.S. South on
Tuesday.

In Arkansas and Mississippi, the hardest hit states,
more than 23 people were killed and more than
200 injured over the last three days by tornadoes
that reduced homes to splinters, snapped trees like
twigs and lifted trucks into the air.

Deaths were also reported in Oklahoma and Iowa
on Sunday, and Alabama and Tennessee on
Monday.

Makeshift shelters have been set up for thousands
of families forced out of their homes while the
National Guard, local police and residents who had
lost all their possessions sifted through the rubble
looking for more victims.

"People were running around screaming, trying to
find their kids. There was nothing left," Melba Reed
said as she described the aftermath of a tornado in
Louisville, Mississippi, a town of about 7,000 in the
central part of the state.

A massive area home to tens of millions of people
stretching across large parts of the South and into
Pennsylvania and Ohio was under some threat from
the storm system that spawned the tornadoes,
forecasters said.

"We will see tornadoes again today and
unfortunately, the areas that are under the gun
today are the same ones that were under the gun
yesterday," said Bill Bunting, operations chief at the
National Weather Service's Storm Predictions Center
in Norman, Oklahoma.

Southern and eastern Mississippi as well as central
and western Alabama were under the highest
threats for tornadoes, damaging winds and hail, he
said.

Tens of thousands of customers along the path of
the storm were without power on Tuesday
morning, with the worst outages in parts of
Alabama and Georgia, utility companies reported.

In western North Carolina, fire department
personnel used boats to rescue people from homes
and vehicles hit by flash floods during the night.

In Arkansas, residents of central Faulkner County,
where most of the damage occurred, sorted
through the rubble as they tried to piece their lives
back together.

"There is joy because you find something that's not
broken and then you find something that's
shattered that meant a lot," said Terry Lee, whose
home was damaged by a tornado.

The White House said President Barack Obama
declared a major disaster in Arkansas and ordered
federal aid to supplement state and local recovery
efforts.

Some tornadoes registered an EF-3 on the
Enhanced Fujita scale that measures strength,
meaning they packed winds of about 150 mph,
according to preliminary estimates from the
National Weather Service in Alabama.

In Tupelo, Mississippi, which was in the path of a
tornado on Monday, police were going house to
house searching for victims and trying to seal any
gas leaks that could fuel fires.

More than 2,000 houses and 100 commercial
properties were damaged by a tornado that ripped
through the city on Monday, officials said.

Officials were also picking through the rubble in
Lincoln County, Tennessee, near the Alabama state
line, where a tornado touched down on Monday,
killing two people.

"The roof is just wiped away from South Lincoln
Elementary School," said water department worker
Tammy Allen. "They had a bus that was slammed into the front
door of the school. It's all just devastating," she
said.

Borno crisis

Borno, Nigeria - The capture of a number of terrorists believed to be
the ringleaders of those operating around
Alagarno remote villages of Damboa Council Area
of Borno state, has sparked off a major fight in the
outskirts of Maiduguri metropolis, Borno State last
night.

Bulabulin is a remote village between Alagarmo
and Sambisa Forest where the terrorists have been
attempting to establish a stronghold in their
campaign.

Officers of the Joint Military Task Force (JTF)
patrolling in Maiduguri in a sweeping offensive
against Boko Haram militants.

During the deadly encounter, 40 suspected
terrorists died while 4 soldiers lost their lives and 9
were wounded.

This was contained in a press statement issued to
Journalists and signed by the Defence
Headquarters Spokesman, Major General Chris
Olukolade yesterday.

Our Correspondent observed that there were three
explosions on the night of Thursday at 9pm and
11pm and another explosion went off at about
5am yesterday in the outskirts of Maiduguri,
thereby leading to intensive stop- and- search
operation within the city by military and civilian JTF.

Olukolade stated that more than 16 rifles and a
substantial number of assorted calibres of
ammunition, Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)
materials, SIM Cards and electronic items have so far
been recovered.

He noted that two of the terrorists were earlier
arrested at a local market two days ago while trying
to procure foodstuff while others were spying on
the military base in the area.

Others still being trailed according to the Defence
Spokesman include a terrorist medic who was on a
mission to procure drugs for use by his colleagues.

Schoolgirls parent retreat because of no police backup

Nigeria - Lack of police back-up causes parents to call off
search for schoolgirls believed to have been
kidnapped by al-Qaeda-linked group Boko Haram.

Parents of more than 230 girls abducted from their
boarding school by Nigerian Islamists linked to al- Qaeda have had to call off their search for their
missing daughters because of a lack of police back-
up.

Several parents described how they were forced to
carry out their own search for the girls without help
from authorities, but had to pull back when they
were close to where they believe the hostages
were being held, in a dense forest.

"We formed a search party, riding on motorcycles
into the forest, searching several places until a man
gave us information that he saw our girls with the
abductors ahead," said Shettima Haruna, whose
daughter is missing.

"The man actually told us that our children were
not far away. But he warned that the abductors
were well armed and kill at will, so we decided to
save our lives and returned."

Another father,
Shettima Hamma, confirmed the search party had to
give up because they had no armed support. "

We trailed the abductors of our daughters far into
very dangerous places inside the forest, but we
couldn't go further because we have no
sophisticated weapons that could match that of
those holding our daughters," he said.

Barcelona defender Dani Alves eats banana thrown at him by a racist fan

Barcelona full-back Dani Alves' incredible response

Though i would advise him to do that next time but that was a more matured way of handling racists!

Khloe Kardashian posts a selfie holding a gun and wearing sheep clothing

The Kardashians are world-class attention-seekers,
but they usually rely on tried and true methods like
sex tapes and famous boyfriends to stay in the
spotlight.

But since everyone and their sister is getting naked
on Instagram these days, Khloe Kardashian
decided to get experimental by posting this photo
of herself wearing a sheep costume and holding a
giant handgun.

Just as she'd hoped, the pic has received a lot of
attention, but probably not in the way Khloe had
expected.

The Fort Hood shooting is still a recent and painful memory for millions of Americans and gun control
remains one of the country's most hotly debated
issues, so Khloe has understandably come under
fire for the ill-timed post that many see as a
glorification of firearms.

In all likelihood, Khloe didn't intend to make any
kind of political statement and is likely just trying to
distract from rumors that she's having a baby with French Montana.

But who knows? Maybe Khloe is trying to send the
message that she's ready to defend herself in the
event that the devastated Lamar Odom tries to win her back.

Or maybe this is her way of showing the world
what kind of mother she would: an absolutely
freakin' terrifying one.

We'll probably never know for sure why Khloe
posted the world's strangest selfie, but at least we
know she's not the black sheep of the family
anymore.

Rihanna and Katy seem to be getting along

Their friendship has taken a few twists and turns
over the years, but on Friday night (April 25) Katy Perry and Rihanna looked to be getting along quite nicely at Walshy Fire's birthday party.

The "Hot N Cold" cutie showed up at 1Oak in New
York City along with her rumored boyfriend Diplo and played catch-up with her Barbadian buddy.

According to a report, Perry also cozied up to Diplo
at the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" afterparty in
Manhattan the night before, so it seems there's a
romance in the works.

An eyewitness told press, "They were very
affectionate, very lovey-dovey. They were
constantly looking at each other.

As they exited,
they quickly separated.

She didn't want it to look
like they were together, but they were."

Hotels to be shut down

Ikeja, Nigeria - The Lagos State Government on Friday
threatened to shut over 2 500 hotels and
restaurants in the state over failure to register their
facilities.

Disun Holloway, the Commissioner for Tourism and
Inter-Governmental Relations, made the threat at the 2014 Ministerial Press Briefing in Ikeja.

He said out of the over 3 000 hotels and
restaurants operating in the state only 350 had
fulfilled their registration requirements.
Holloway described the situation as unsavoury and
unacceptable.

The commissioner said that officials of the ministry
would soon be sent out to sanction defaulting
hotels and restaurants.

"The law is very clear on this issue. It says hotels,
restaurants and others must register.

"It has security implication to it. We need to know where the hotels are located, their number, the
facilities available in each of the hotels and other
important things.

"So far, only 300 hotels out of the 3000 we have
identified have registered. We will soon begin to
shut defaulting establishments. The law must be complied with,'' he said.

Church of bey

In Atlanta,Georgia have founded a church called "The National Church of Bey" and they practice the religion Beyism (based on Beyoncé Knowles).

They say they rather worship Beyonce than an invincible spirit(God) The church's founder, Pauline John Andrews, recently stated,
"We are very disappointed in the failure of the public to recognize the existence of a divine Deity walking among them.Deity's often walk the Earth in their flesh form.Beyoncé will transcend back to the spirit once her work here on Mother Earth has been completed."

As our congregation continues to swell, we ask that you consider what is more real; an invisible spirit on high, or a walking, talking, breathing Goddess who shows you her true form daily?
Beyoncé's spirit is entrancing.

We know that she was sent to this place to spread love, peace, and joy … Open your mind to new possibilities and you will see, just as we did, that Bey is a true higher power.

Surfbort!"We have published the Beyble and it will soon be available for free to the public.

Donations have poured in and we will soon have enough to build a temple in honor of Mother Bey.
We will invite her to speak to her flock, once the doors are open."

Please what do you have to say about this? because at this point am lost Beyonce's church and #Beyonce_Bible? God have mercy!

Obama visits Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Opening the first visit to Malaysia by a U.S. president in nearly half a century, Barack Obama looked ahead Saturday to
economic and security talks with Prime Minister Najib Razak, who leads a southeast Asian nation with an important role in Obama's efforts to forge deeper ties with the region.

Stepping onto a red carpet at the Royal Malaysian Air Base, Obama was whisked by limousine to Kuala Lumpur's Parliament Square, where a 21-gun
salute rang out as Malaysia's king and prime minister greeted Obama under muggy skies and a yellow awning.

A military band played the U.S. and Malaysian national anthems — twice — and Obama inspected an elaborate honor guard in crisp green and white before the arrival ceremony came to a close.

Obama's next stop was to be the Istana Negara, the National Palace, for an audience with Malaysia's royal family before he takes his seat later Saturday
at a state dinner in his honor.

During the two-day visit, which follows stops in Japan and South Korea, Obama will also meet with citizen leaders and hold a town hall-style forum with young leaders from across the region.

But Obama rejected calls from human rights groups to meet with a prominent Malaysian opposition leader.

Obama, in a written interview with the Malaysian newspaper The Star, said his main message to Malaysia was that the U.S. welcomes its growing contributions to security and prosperity in the region.

"I see my visit as an opportunity to formalize a comprehensive partnership, and lay the foundation for even closer ties for years to come," Obama said.

Trade, defense and maritime security are among the issues Obama and Najib were expected to discuss during talks scheduled for Sunday.

Malaysia is one of a dozen countries involved in the Trans-Pacific Partnership free-trade negotiations, a major focus during Obama's stop in Tokyo earlier in
the week.

The U.S. and Japan are working to overcome differences to pave the way for the broader, regional agreement to move forward.

Last month's disappearance of a commercial airliner carrying 239 people put Malaysia in the international spotlight as Obama was preparing to
head to the region.

The U.S. is assisting in the
massive search effort and the disaster was expected to be on the agenda during Obama's visit.

Officials are widening the search area in a remote part of the ocean where the jet may have crashed.

In a sign of the ongoing agony, about 50 relatives of missing Chinese passengers continue a sit-in protest outside the Malaysian Embassy in Beijing, demanding answers.

Absent from Obama's itinerary in Malaysia: A meeting with opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, who presents the most potent political threat to Najib amid a decline in Najib's popular support over the past two elections.

The U.S. spurned calls from human rights groups for the president himself to meet with the 66-year- old former deputy prime minister, but was instead sending Susan Rice, his national security adviser
and former U.N. ambassador, to meet with him.

Anwar was recently convicted for the second time on sodomy charges that the U.S. and international human rights groups have claimed are politically
motivated.

Anwar is appealing, and could be forced
to give up his seat in parliament and go to prison if he loses.

Ben Rhodes, Obama's deputy national security adviser, told reporters traveling with Obama that the president typically does not meet with opposition leaders during foreign visits, but felt the issue was important enough to dispatch Rice
instead.

Obama and other top officials have raised Anwar's case in past meetings with Malaysian officials, Rhodes added.

Halfway through the eight-day, four-nation trip, Obama has started showing signs of weariness from the mileage and the 12- to 12-hour time shift from Washington while traveling in Asia.

He normally jogs up the stairs to Air Force One, but on Saturday slowed to a walk instead.

Before departing Seoul on Saturday, Obama addressed U.S. troops stationed in South Korea and received a military briefing focused on North Korea.

Obama will also visit the Philippines before returning to Washington next week.

The last American president to visit Malaysia was Lyndon B. Johnson in 1966.

Central African Republic's Seleka rebels call for secession amid sectarian war

Rebels in the Central African Republic are calling for
the establishment of a new country as a radical
solution to the worsening sectarian conflict.

The name – the Republic of Northern Central Africa
– and a design for a national flag, are circulating by
mobile phone in the dusty town of Bambari, which
divides the C.A.R's largely Christian south from a
northern region now controlled by the mostly
Muslim Seleka rebels, according to Reuters.

But the United Nations, the African Union, the former
colonial power, France, and many analysts insist
that this is neither likely nor desirable.

The call for partition echoes numerous secessionist
movements across Africa, where arbitrary borders
drawn by colonial mapmakers disregarded and cut across ethnic boundaries .
South Sudan, the C.A.R's neighbour, gained
independence from Sudan in 2011 – but is now
embroiled in a civil war of its own.

Bambari has become a sanctuary for Muslims
fleeing lynch mobs in the south; a convoy of French peacekeepers escorted 100 Muslims there last
Monday from the capital, Bangui.

Such evacuations, which are continuing, are
tantamount to accepting partition, the minister for
reconciliation and communications, Antoinette
Montaigne has conceded.

Abdel Nasser Mahamat Youssouf, member of a
youth group in Bambari lobbying for the secession
of the north, was quoted as saying: "The partition
itself has already been done.

Now there only
remains the declaration of independence." A colleague, Oumar Tidiane, said of the south:
"They don't want any Muslims. Rather than calling
their country the Central African Republic, they can
call it the Central African Catholic Republic."

Militias known as the "anti-balaka" have driven tens of thousands of Muslims from the south , destroying mosques and virtually wiping out the
Muslim population of Bangui.

The UN high
commissioner for refugees, António Guterres, has
said the country faces "massive ethnic-religious cleansing", while Amnesty International has warned of a "Muslim exodus of historic
proportions".

But there is no simple split. Before the crisis it was
estimated that half the C.A.R's population was
Christian and just 15% Muslim. David Smith, a
director of Okapi Consulting, who spent several years in the country, said: "The number of Muslims
in the CAR was small and now it is dramatically
smaller.

The number calling for secession is so small
that it's hardly worth listening to them.

"There are some people who want to compare it
with Sudan and South Sudan but that is completely
off the mark. "There are lot of independence movements all over
this continent and most have more steam behind
them than a group of young men in the C.A.R.

It's
coming predominantly from Chadians and
Sudanese who want to have free rein in the
region," he added. Indeed, an independent north would play into the
hands of neighbouring Chad and Sudan, whose
mercenaries played a major part in a coup in March
last year, sparking a backlash along religious lines
that forced the Seleka to cede power in January.

This is just one reason why partition is implacably opposed by the C.A.R's interim president, Catherine Samba-Panza. The UN secretary general, Ban Ki- Moon, has also warned of its dangers and the
French president, François Hollande, has vowed to prevent it.

It is also unlikely to win much sympathy in the rest of Africa, where governments are resisting separatist movements everywhere from Angola to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, from Nigeria to Kenya, from
Somalia to Zimbabwe.

At independence half a century ago, the Organisation of African Unity (now the African Union) declared the borders immutable
to prevent wars erupting.

It made a special case for South Sudan but is hardly like to do the same for the C
A.R. Koffi Kouakou, a foreign-policy expert at Wits University in Johannesburg, said: "The partition of the C.A.R is not
likely to happen and is not desirable at political and economic levels.

"The social evidence on the ground shows that while the strife of ethnic cleansing is increasingly becoming a grave concern in many parts of Africa, mainly in central Africa, the partition of the C.A.R is a
mirage at this stage.

"The international community will not allow it as a matter of course. A divided CAR is not feasible on international jurisdiction and on paper." Kouakou added: "There may be an urgent need for
a solution to isolate the warring populations for a while to help subside the violence.

But it will not be in the interest of all parties to seek a secession of
the mainly Muslim north away from the Catholic south. "The partition of Sudan, a bordering country, is the evidence that the partition of a country is in fact not
the solution to deep ethnic rivalries in Africa." Smith said: "It's undesirable because the CAR as it stands is not a functioning state and has never
been a functioning state.

Cutting the C.A.R – which was the weakest part of French Equatorial Africa – in half will mean one half has virtually no
infrastructure of any kind. If you don't have Bangui, you don't really have anything."

"It serves nobody's interest to create another basket-case state that requires aid from the international community." Not all Muslims favour the move either. Ibrahim Alawad, one of a small band clinging to their homes in Bangui, said on Friday: "It cannot be just like that.

You grow up in one country and you live in one place. We want to know what is in the minds of our fellow Christians.

"I don't want to see the country divided. Why not dialogue?"

Paul Walker's brothers to complete fast and furious

Two brothers of the late actor Paul Walker will
help finish Fast & Furious 7 following his death
in a car crash.

Caleb and Cody Walker will "fill in
small gaps left in
production", a statement on the film's Facebook
page said.

"Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul
is
with us, too," it added.

Walker, 40, died in a car crash in Santa Clarita,
California, in November.
His friend Roger Rodas was driving and a police investigation found the Porsche was travelling up
to 94mph when it went out of control.

Walker was on a break from filming when he died,
and production was halted temporarily.

The
release of the latest instalment in the hugely
popular series of films was pushed backed by nine months until April 2015.

Walker played law enforcement officer Brian
O'Conner in five of the six films about illegal street
racing, heists and organised crime.

The actor had
become an emblem of street racing
and car culture as a result of the role.

Fast & Furious 7, which is directed by James Wan
and stars Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson, has been
adjusted to include the footage shot with Walker
and to give his character some kind of send-off.

"It will allow the character of Brian O'Conner to live
on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role," the statement said.

Girl gets stabbed because of her refusal to prom

HARTFORD, Conn. - A 16-year-old girl was
stabbed to death inside a Connecticut high school
Friday, and police took a teenage boy into custody
and are investigating whether the attack stemmed
from her turning down an invitation to be his prom
date.

Emergency responders were called to Jonathan
Law High School in Milford, about an hour's drive
from New York City, around 7:15 a.m.

Staff
members and paramedics performed life-saving
measures on the girl, but she was pronounced
dead shortly before 8 a.m. at Bridgeport Hospital, police said.

A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody. His
name wasn't released because of juvenile offender
laws, said Police Chief Keith Mello.

Investigators are
looking into reports that the boy stabbed the girl
after she declined to be his date for the junior prom,
which had scheduled for Friday night but was postponed because of the stabbing.

Schools Superintendent Elizabeth Feser identified
the victim as Maren Sanchez, a junior who was in
the National Honor Society and engaged in school
activities. Students were released from school early,
and officials were offering counseling services.

Students described an emotional, somewhat
chaotic scene with people crying as police and
paramedics swarmed the school.

Students flocked
to social media sites to try to find out what was
going on. Sarah Golden, a 14-year-old freshman, said she
was sitting in the main lobby with friends Friday
morning when she was startled by several security
guards running down the hall.

Then she heard a
voice on a walkie-talkie say that someone had
been strangled. She was shocked when she learned about the stabbing. "I was trying not to freak out because it was really
scary," Sarah said.

"I just don't believe that
something like that happened at my school. It's
something that seems so unreal." Golden's sister, Rebecca, a 17-year-old senior at the
school, said she saw the victim lying on the floor
surrounded by teachers, some of whom were
crying.

She said she didn't know what was going
on at the time, and teachers directed her away from
the victim. "We are obviously devastated by the loss of one of
our students, Maren Sanchez," Feser, the
superintendent, said at a news conference.

"She
was a 16-year-old junior - vibrant, very, very
involved in Jonathan Law High School, an incredible
contributor, someone who was loved and respected. ...

The Jonathan Law community mourns
greatly the loss of Maren, and our thoughts and
prayers go out to her family." ____

Beyonce makes TIME 100

Was anyone else surprised to wake up this
morning to find that Beyoncé landed the coveted
spot on Time's 100 most influential people cover? No? Neither was I.

Sheryl Sandberg, author of the controversial book
"Lean In" and COO of Facebook, penned the piece
highlighting Beyoncé's numerous claims to fame.

Those accomplishments include (but aren't limited
to) her role as a full-time mother, record-breaking
sales as a recording artist, and a sold out world tour.

And that's only this year. This is Time's 11th annual publication of the Most
Influential list, and this year's honorees included some controversial names .

Other notable mentions include the
NBA's first openly gay athlete Jason Collins, former
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, singer Pharrell
Williams, and Pope Francis.

The "Time 100″ list is composed of names who
have made a notable impact in the last year,
regardless of their moral standing in the world.

Each honoree is profiled
by another influential leader – Sandberg chronicled
Beyoncé, teen activist Malala Yousafzai wrote about Hillary Clinton, and so on. The issue hits newsstands Friday, April 25.

that she was listed in the leaders category,
alongside prominent world leaders such as Chinese
President Xi Jinping; US Secretary of State, John
Kerry; Russian President Vladmir Putin; and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, among others. Nwabuikwu said: "Ten years after its European
edition honoured her as one of world's "Heroes",
TIME magazine has named the Coordinating
Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to the 2014 TIME 100, its

categories of the award."

The statement quotes Dr Okonjo-Iweala as
expressing delight at being so honoured by the
American news magazine, as well as, expressing
gratitude to God and to all those whose efforts and
encouragement helped her record the
achievements for which she has been singled out.

"In her reaction, Dr Okonjo-Iweala expressed her
delight and humility at the honour, following so
soon after the Rockefeller Leadership Award which
she got recently," the statement said.

"I am grateful to God for his blessings and I appreciate the privilege and honour of working for
my country. I am thankful to my teams that worked
hard to help me achieve. I appreciate the support
and prayers of millions of Nigerians and friends
around the world.

This is vastly encouraging," Nwabuikwu quotes Okonjo-Iweala as saying. An accompanying citation on the Minister, written
by respected global activist, Bono, pays tribute to
Okonjo-Iweala on her numerous achievements,
especially her "contribution to achieving the
historic debt deal with the Paris Club and the fight
against corruption," Nwabuikwu's statement said.

Lupita Nyong'o adds another honour to her list of awards

If winning an Oscar for her first role wasn't enough, Lupita Nyong'o can add another honor to her list of awards.

The "12 Years A Slave" breakout
star (and our beauty idol) was named People Magazine's "Most Beautiful Person"! Kerry Washington, Paula Patton and Gabrielle Union also join Lupita on the annual list.

"It was exciting and just a major, major
compliment," she said to People. "I was happy for
all the girls who would see me on (it) and feel a little
more seen."

We all know Lupita is beautiful to begin with, but
the star admitted to People that she once went
blonde in hopes of finding a look that works for
her.

"It was very strange and very cold," she said.
"It was scary, but I like to dare myself."

Now that
she's rocking her natural hair proudly, Lupita says she appreciates the compliments that don't just
focus on her looks on the red carpet.

The best
compliments are "when I have been called
beautiful with not one drop of makeup on and also
before I comb my hair or put on a pretty dress."

The Oscar award winner has been having an
amazing year since winning the prestigious title of
"Best Supporting Actress."

From scoring a major makeup deal with Lancome to her (possibly) working on a film with Beyonce's favorite author, Lupita's star is only continuing to rise. We wonder what's next for the star?

Trina's mad at Khloe

Trina was dating rapper French Montana up until a few weeks ago, when he decided to call it quits and
move on to Khloe.

Kim Kardashian, who is good friends with Trina, tried playing peace maker by pulling the old 'lets
talk like women' 3-way call, but was met with deaf
ears.

Khloe tried to explain that she had no idea Trina was dating French, but Da Baddest B**** wasn't
trying to hear one word. A source also shared that
Trina is devastated by French's sudden change of
heart.
"She feels like French is an opportunist. He
dropped Trina and went right on to Khloe,
Trina stood by his side through everything and
he just discarded her. They were living
together, I mean come on. She has no clue
what's going on, she's reading about it just like everyone else is."

Looks like Khloe knows how to steal pick 'em. Is it
about to be a girl fight or nah?

Jay and Bey spends on Kimye wedding gift

Oh boy. The rumor mill is buzzing about the Kimye's wedding, that will allegedly take place this Friday in Paris and according to the chatter, Jay Z
and Beyonce have declined Kim and Ye's wedding
invite! We know, we know…scandalous.

The Kimye wedding will be filmed for "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" and the Carters are allegedly opting out of being
on-camera. That didn't stop the couple from
splurging on their wedding gift.

They allegedly
spent £100,000 on a yacht for the soon-to-be
newlyweds. In addition to the luxury boat ride, Jay
is planning a swank party at his 40/40 club in their honor.

Despite all of the gossip, we don't think Jay and Bey
are shady enough to miss their friends wedding.

We'll just have to wait and see… In other Jay Z news… Hov's former producer
Chauncey Mahan was questioned by police Friday
after planning to extort Ja Z for his collection of
master recordings that went missing in 2002.

According to reports, Mahan reached out to Live
Nation requesting a $100,000 storage fee or he would auction off the records. Welp ,Mahan has some explaining to do as the
records were found in his possession in a California
storage unit. The records are valued between $ 15 million to $20 million . Mahan almost landed $75,000 but the plan didn't
work quite like he intended it to.

Teen caught with loaded gun buried in her vagina

A teenager in the US state of Tennessee attempted
to smuggle a loaded handgun into prison by
concealing it inside her vagina, according to police.

A 4-inch loaded weapon was discovered in the
vagina of a 19-year-old girl, Dallas Archer , after
she was arrested on Monday [April 21] by police
officers and taken to KINGSPORT jail for driving with
a suspended sentence.

when a female prison officer searched the
teenager and noticed an 'unknown object' in
Archer's groin.

Two female officers then took her
into the bathroom, when they found the 4-inch
weapon hidden inside her vee jay jay.
Looks like the girl stole the mini revolver from a
staff member of a car salesroom during a burglary
and the gun was valued at $250, according to
police.

Archer has since been charged with possession of
stolen property, illegal possession of a firearm and
introducing contraband into the jail.
Latest report says no attorney is listed for Archer .

Selena dumps Justin again

Los Angeles - Selena Gomez has dumped Justin
Bieber over his friendship with Kylie Jenner.

The Come and Get It hitmaker - who was seen
cuddling up to her on/off boyfriend at the Coachella
Valley Music and Arts festival earlier this month - is
said to have been infuriated by the Boyfriend
hitmaker's closeness to the reality TV star, despite
them hanging out as a group, along with Kylie's sister Kendall, at the Californian event.

A source said: "Selena is convinced something has
gone on between Justin and Kylie.

"At Coachella they looked to be back on track.
Selena was hanging out with Kylie too and they
were behaving like best friends.

"Then she heard stuff about Justin and Kylie and felt
totally betrayed.

She went berserk and called it all
off again." The 21-year-old star is said to be "overcome" with
jealousy and has unfollowed the Jenner sisters on Instagram and deleted all her pictures with the pair.

However, friends think she is channelling her
emotions in the wrong place and want her to focus
on cutting Justin out of her life.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Selena is
in a really bad place at the moment - she's on the
edge and now overcome with jealousy.

"She really needs to wash her hands of Justin for
good."

It was recently claimed that friends are worried
about Selena - whose underwent a brief stint in
rehab in January as they think she behaves "like a
different person" when she is with the Beauty and a
Beat star and they don't think she should have
resumed their three-year on/off romance again.

A source said: "Selena is now acting a little
brainwashed and not challenging a thing Justin
says.

There was a time not long ago where they
were fighting and arguing about their relationship,
but now she's like a robot and completely in his
thrall.

"Whatever he did to keep her from moving on from
the relationship worked a little bit too well, because
it's like she's a completely different person."
