Gunmen in taraba

Taraba, Nigeria - In the early hours of friday unknown gunmen attacked Kashimbila village of Takum local government of
Taraba State setting houses on fire.

The attack also brought to a standstill construction
work in the ongoing multipurpose dam projects
situated in the village as the workers, most of who
are foreigners, are planning leave the area.



Two lives were lost after the attack and two women were taken captive by the attackers. One of the women is said to be pregnant. The attackers were said to have disappeared into thin air after the success of their operation.
